In the Italian tradition before the pizza, in our pizzerias we always eat different types of fried food in addition to the classics we propose according to tradition ARANCINI, PIZZA FRITTA E CROCCHETTE all handmade.
Arancini di riso
It is a ball or a cone of breaded and fried rice, with a diameter of 8-10 cm, usually stuffed with meat sauce, peas and caciocavallo cheese, or cubes of cooked ham and mozzarella. The name derives from the original shape and from the typical golden color, which reminds an orange, but it must be said that in eastern Sicily arancini have more often a conical shape, in order to symbolize Etna volcano.
A panzerotto is a traditional food from Puglia, it looks like a half moon shaped pocket of dough filled with savory or sweet ingredients. It is then wrapped and delicately fried or baked, it’s a pocket of hot filling, ready to be eaten!
ARROSTICINI is a unique skewer of small cubes of lamb, salted and cooked over a FORNACELLA having origin in Abruzzo (special made grill).
